As a country, El Salvador continues to have the highest incarceration rate (per capita) in the world. With an incarcerated population of nearly 148,000, the need for hope found only in Jesus Christ is immense!
The Lord has called our team to WIN, DISCIPLE, and HELP the people of San Salvador, El Salvador!
WIN – Through various outreaches and an evangelistic festival we will share the Good News and love of Jesus Christ. Our team has also been granted special national permission to carry the message of hope into all 24 prisons across the country. Our prison outreaches will take place in the months leading up to the festival, with two unique opportunities being reserved for the festival week.
DISCIPLE + DEPLOY – We will educate and train pastors and leaders empowering them through the Great Commission.
HELP – We will meet critical physical needs including distributing hygiene kits to inmates across El Salvador.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Complete Registration Form.
- Application Fee - A $500 non-refundable deposit is due with registration.
- Valid Passport Book - expiration date must be 6 months after trip return date and contain at least one blank page.
- Current Restrictions for Entry: Currency in excess of 10,000.00 USD must be declared.
- Current Restrictions for Exit: Currency in excess of 10,000 USD must be declared.

- Must be able to tolerate warm and humid climate.
Preparation
- Passport! Check your passport, it must be valid through September 2026. If you don't have a Passport Book, you should start the process immediately. (Please note, "Passport Cards" are not valid for travel to El Salvador.)
- Book your flight! Find out what to do by downloading Booking Your Flight in Event Resources.
- Get your immunizations. No vaccinations are required for entry into El Salvador; however, we recommend you check with your physician about what is best for you. You may also check the Center for Disease Control website for recommendations (cdc.gov – go to Traveler’s Health).
- Begin praying for this event, our staff and the local pastors and churches. Ask the Lord to start preparing your heart and the hearts of those we will serve in San Salvador!
